The New Speakeasy Podcast

5/8/2010

As I promised I had a special project I have been working on and it was pretty tough to keep it a secret for as long as I did.  I cannot begin to tell you how difficult getting your podcast launched really is, but if you ever were wondering about doing a podcast why not listen to ep 1: Fuck podcasting before you do anthing stupid.

I am very happy to announce the launch though so why don’t you head over to my feed and subscribe to it at:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/speakeasy-pc

or drop by the webpage www.lonniebruhn.com/speakeasy and listen to the stream.

Leave comments and keep coming back.

A Devoted Schedule Page

5/8/2010

More often then I think it should happen, people will here that I am doing something and then still ask about the show details. Now I think maybe people were to fucking lazy too look at the side panel on the right where all my tour dates have always been but whatever the case I made some changes. First of all the work load will be cut in half for me. I put the dates in place and then they are added to my site and myspace automaticly. Second, having a devoted page maybe will catch the eye of the people looking at the navigation bar. Anyway, either way, I think this will be easier for us all. Tell me if you like it.

Some more interesting changes are on rthe way.

The BridgeTown Comedy Fest Press

4/26/2010

Over 170 comedians performed in this years festival and when The Portland Mercury did their pre festival article and picks for must see comedians, they wrote this about me:

"Without question, Lonnie Bruhn is Portland's top purveyor of filth. But Bruhn is more than a dirty comic—his openness about his difficulties with cerebral palsy is cathartic and enlightening."

-- The Portland Mercury 2010: Andrew R Tonry

This year had steller perfomances and a rock solid line-up of comedians that care more about their perfomance and the artistic value than the ego behind it. Thanks again Andy Wood and everyone that made the 3rd year a sucsess.

Four nights of non stop parties is not good on my liver at all.
